Experience a taste of the UK RumFest with a boutique version of the weekends big festival. Exclusively exhibiting for the first time will be new or boutique rum brands. As well as the rum sampling, there will be Caribbean canape's and live entertainment from RumFest carnival mas band Bacchanalia and Brazilian dancers Latin fusion. This will the perfect chance to not only discover a new rum but learn why rum is more than just a spirit...it's a lifestyle.

The ultimate Tiki Bartender test to see which bartender will be crowned as the first UK Tiki Bartender of the year and win the prize of a WALK ON PART IN A HOLLYWOOD MOVIE courtesy of Don Q rum. in Tiki Cocktail Knowledge; Rum Blind Tasting; Decipher Don’s mix round in which bartenders must guess the ingredients of a secret mix; and finally create a new Tiki Classic cocktail. The semi-final round will be held at the Boutique Rumfest @ The Hilton Hotel Olympia 14^th October. The grand final will be over 4 rounds on Saturday 15^th & Sunday 16^th October on the main stage of the UK RumFest !

 

To enter, contestants must send in their Tiki cocktail recipes to Imbibe magazine (or imbibe.com) along with a limerick or 5 line poem about why they should be tiki bartender of the year. Closing date for entries is 29th September 2011
